The Whole Woman Medical Supplies (TWWMS) was the brainchild of The Whole Woman Founder/CEO, Natalie B. McKenzie and her husband Obie McKenzie, a forty-five year finance industry veteran.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has crystalized the shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) available for our health care providers and the community at large that is exposed to this pandemic,” says Natalie.

In 2017, the McKenzie’s began utilizing their resources and connections abroad to engage in the wholesale distribution of medical supplies and devices to healthcare providers and professionals at hospitals, medical centers and private physician offices. They have now rekindled those relationships to obtain protective masks, jumpsuits, face shields and other PPE.

Both Natalie and Obie have extensive backgrounds in philanthropy and have served on numerous hospital boards, so they know the inequality that exists in the healthcare systems, especially when it comes to the underutilization of minority firms to provide PPE products.

TWWMS’ streamlined delivery process averages 8 to 14 days. Their focus is partnering with smaller healthcare institutions, community based hospitals and nursing homes, in the tri-state area, that are currently underserved.
